Roman Coinage

Caracalla 197 - 217

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus was known as Caracalla for the type of cloak he wore. A poor emperor who murdered his bother and many thousands of his sympathizers. He drained the treasury and imposed oppresive taxation. He was eventually assasinated.
