Roman Mounts

Item 0089: Roman Military Belt Mount.

Material Bronze.
Description
The front and back of the stiffener are plain. Propeller-shaped with chamfered outside edge. The triangular arms both have centrally positioned single rivet-holes.
It would have been riveted vertically to a wide belt to stop it curling over at the edges.
