Date 3rd Century AD?
Size 78 mm x 63 mm (original)

Description This cast item has been identified as a balteus connecter, but it's heavy build suggests it has an equine use. The three loops would each hold a leather strap. Two raised nubs once held an attachment that was allowed to swivel freely. The reverse is flat. This example is broken in half.
